Impressive... there is a menacing shadow of reality in the portait of a facist underground funded from Latin America, cynically using Left-wing terrorists to spread fear and anarchy in preparation for a triumphant return. |

It has all the signs of a bestseller. First-class plot, credible characters and dialogue, and exotic settings. Definitely a winner. |

Terrific entertainment, a page-turner in the best tradition of thrillers - unsettlingly plausible. |

This is a terrific book. I confidently predict that it will enjoy a triumph and that we will see many more bestsellers from the same pen... A model of presentation - Meade serves up new twists at regular intervals like a waiter bounding forward with canapes - but there are also some tremendous exercises in sheer, nail-biting suspense... a rare treat. |
