  In Januari of 2008 I (Dolf) was browsing a bookstore looking for something new to read. Since I'd already read every published book by my favourite authors, I was just looking at pretty covers and nice titles.

  Then my eye fell on Keeping it real by Justina Robson, and on the cover was a quote by Peter F. Hamilton. Since I've always enjoyed his work, I bought the book... and it turned out to be excellent!

  Thus a trend started for me. I bought more and more books recommended by my favourite authors. But it occured to me that looking at every cover in the bookstore isn't a very efficient way to find new reading material.

  I spent quite a lot of time looking for a resource that could simply tell me what books a specific author recommends. Couldn't find anything! Nothing at all.

  That's where the idea for this website came from. It's really something I want to have myself...
